                                           THE     ALAMO             what a great place to preach the gospel to the public. People come from all over the world to this historical site. Who knows  what might happen? Some body may believe the gospel and evangelize  their Nation. Only eternity will tell what really happen when you gave some one a tract, gave a testimony, or a drink of water to a thirsty soul. We have been called to be witnesses for Christ. We overcome the evil one's by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony.

              Sometimes it can be so very crowded , but it seems like no one is listening. Almost like preaching in a wilderness. So it is, a wilderness of souls! Many are indifferent  to the gospel, some are hardened in their hearts, some bitter and cold to such good news, some outright hateful. Every now and then a believer will thank me for preaching the truth. Some thought  I should not be preaching, even some believers?? It always puzzles me why a Christian would not want to hear the gospel preached in public. Perhaps they think it only belongs in church. I pray they are not ashamed of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

              In my preaching the word I cannot seem to be silent about our National sins and sins of the church. I prayed and wondered if I should tone it down a bit, but the Lord won't let me. Then I read what Martin Luther the reformer wrote;       "  WE  MUST PREACH THE GOSPEL Against THAT AREA WHERE THE DEVIL IS AT THAT TIME IN HISTORY  working out his evil plan. IF NOT , THEN WE CAN PREACH ALL WE WANT, BUT IT'S NOT THE TRUE GOSPEL OF GOD"! { my paraphrase }. Do you hear this dear saints? The gospel is not to be divorced from present day reality! When our Nation is murdering over 50,000,000 babies, marrying men with men, turning our fighting forces into a homosexual whorehouse, teaching these abominations from preschool to university . The worst part is the CHURCH isn't much better. To be silent on this is a great sin before a holy God. If you can be silent on the murder of innocent babies, same sex marriage and the present agenda to destroy this Nation, will you also allow yourself to be silenced about preaching the cross?

              Do not think  that this cannot happen. It is taking place as we speak in many parts of the world. Remember the anti-christ agenda is to subjugate  the whole planet to Satan. Everything that happens in this evil agenda in it's final analysis is to kill, steal, and destroy  Israel, the church. We are being tested, prepared for eternity. The church will be tried by fire. Will you deny the one that loved you and gave his life for you? If you are silent now about the evil all around us,  will you suddenly find the courage when your very life is at stake ? Now's the time beloved to draw near to the Lord, it is always right now.

            HOW DOES A LOVING GOD SEND PEOPLE TO AN ETERNAL HELL

  THE PREACHING OF THE cross   Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away:  for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.                        The offering of salvation without conviction of sin may produce false converts. Salvation is the gift of God, but why receive it if you are not a sinner? However, when sin is exposed in one's life, then there is a reason to run to the the cross.    When  the righteousness of God is proclaimed, it shows us how far we are fallen from a holy God. Repentance for the lost is not making 180 degree turn to a new life, for there is no power in them to live for the Lord. When the heart cries out to the Lord upon hearing the gospel, then salvation comes. If we tell sinners they must change their lifestyle to be saved, we doom them to perdition. Many are in addictions and other life controlling troubles. They cannot change unless they are saved first. The enemy holds them in an iron grip. Believing the gospel is their only hope :    BUT IF OUR GOSPEL BE HID, IT IS HID TO THEM THAT ARE LOST: IN WHOM THE god OF THIS WORLD HATH BLINDED THE MINDS OF THEM THAT BELIEVE NOT, LEST THE LIGHT OF THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF CHRIST, WHO IS THE IMAGE OF GOD, SHOULD SHINE UNTO THEM.   2COR.4:3,4                               Repentance is a change of mind before it can be a change of lifestyle.
