Mathematics is the perfect measure of all physical matter. Love is the perfect measure of all spiritual things. As men have taken this perfect measure of the physical and corrupted it in their deceitful lusts, so the Lord's perfect love has been made to look like a hateful thing.
Why would a ma change the plain meaning of 2+2=4 and make it mean anything they want? This is because they have bought the lie that there are no absolutes. There is nothing to anchor their soul upon in this worthless philosophy. In their outlook of life, creation, measures of science or spiritual things as love, there is no compass, starting point or ending. They just haply float around, their existence has no purpose. Their life is as random as their creation: an accident.
We know that there is a beginning and an ending to this world. This understanding can only be given to them that have the Lord's Holy Spirit. Outside of the discernment of God's Holy Spirit is confusion and every evil work.
Rev.2:18 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
