CHURCH, WHERE ART THOU ?
[Gen 3:9-10 KJV] 9 And the LORD God called unto THE CHURCH, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And CHURCH said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
[Jhn 8:43-45 KJV] 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? [even] because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell [you] the truth, ye believe me not.
[Rev 3:15-22 KJV] 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Where is the church in today's culture? Adam, who is the representative of every living person sinned against the Lord God. By his disobedience all of mankind are born into sin.
[Rom 5:12-14 KJV] 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
When we believe the gospel, our sins are forgiven. The Lord imputes His righteousness unto us as the gift of God, seals us with His Holy Spirit unto future glory. The resurrection from the dead in glorified bodies is the hope of all the saints. Yet, many churches seem to be AWOL / MISSING IN ACTION. The church, which is the Body of Christ, is the pillar and ground of the truth. This means that we are to be steadfast, unmovable concerning the truth of the word of God.
Jn.17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
So church, where are you in today's culture wars? Prayer was taken out of the public schools in the early 60's. June 25, 1962, the United States Supreme Court decided in Engel v. Vitale
In 1980, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a Kentucky statute that had mandated every public school classroom that has the Ten Commandments posted on its walls.
Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973), is a landmark decision issued in 1973 by the United States Supreme Court on the issue of the constitutionality of laws that criminalized or restricted access to abortions. We have murdered over 60 million babies since.
The Intent of Government
[Rom 13:1-4 KJV] 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to [execute] wrath upon him that doeth evil.
In times past when Kings ruled the earth, their word was law. They did as they pleased. Some were extremely brutal, cruel, but all were given by God.Then the U.S.A. was born with it's constitution, Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence, a government of the people, by the people, for the people. This was one of the greatest achievements in world history. A government governed by law: a Constitutional Republic. In this republic men are elected to office through voting of the general public. For this to work there needed to be a certain amount of education. Voters would have to have a grasp of the political issues at hand and make a judgment on what they believed was best for the Nation. An ignorant voter is dangerous to the republic, as they are easily manipulated, deceived. This is the condition of America at this very moment.
How did we get to this place? To answer this we must look at it from a Biblical worldview. Mankind as a sinner from the fall of Adam is hopelessly bound to immorality. The wages of sin is death. Rom.6:23. Throughout the first Covenant, there were strict laws punishable by death. Today, these laws sound barbaric. What today's modern man needs to understand, is that a strong hard hand must be applied to law breakers. When the law is lax, it's enforcement slack or none existent, lawlessness takes hold of society. Today murderers are not executed in many states. Crimes of drug dealers, gun runners, pedophilia, crimes against nature, treason, etc. need to be dealt with in the harshest measures, including execution. This is moral, this is right, it is just and good that men should be restrained from doing evil.
Job 34:37 For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.
Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
Psa 10:14
Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

After the flood the Lord gave Noah the law of capital punishment.
Gen 9:5
And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.
Gen 9:6
Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
We see the reason man is to be put to death: we are created in God's image, and to kill (murder) a man is to defile the image of God himself.
[Heb 1:1-4 KJV] 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
WHEN GOVERNMENTS TURN EVIL
The LORD GOD intended Human Government to be righteous, restaining man's lawlessness by the power of the sword. It was to be a terror to evil works. What happens when governments become a terror to good works? Throughout history, esp. In the 19th and 20th centuries there have been bloody revolutions to destroy the old world of kings to replace it with new concepts, ideas, ideologies. The saying " Long live the King " has been throughout history the most basic form of governance. A new world order has gained hold the of minds of men. Let us explore their origins, purposes and goals. I would like to start with are own nation, America and the development of the American Revolution. I will confine my study to the 1) origens, 2) purposes and 3) goals.
THE PILGRIMS AND THE MAYFLOWER COMPACT
Only the God-man, the Lord Jesus Christ, is the express image of the Father's person
In the mind of God, before the foundation of the world, Jesus, the Son of God was set to appear at the right time to redeem mankind.
[1Ti 2:3-6 KJV] 3 For this [is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
[Eph 1:3-12 KJV] 3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
We who have believed are made joint heirs with Christ. This means we are fellow heirs, joint participants in everything The Lord jesus Christ has obtained for us. You must be born into this inheritance even as Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Jas 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

The Word of God, who was always with God, is born of a virgin, conceived of the Holy Ghost. He is the Brightness of His (God the Father) glory, and the express image of His person. This then becomes our image when we believe on Him that died for our sins, and rose from the dead. 1 Cor.15:1-4. The Lord God created man in His image; male and female created He them. Gen. 1:26,27. This creation of Adam and Eve is before the fall. Today His creation is marred by sin, which is the transgression (breaking) of Moses's law.
We who have believed unto salvation are once again restored to the original creation before sin entered in through disobedience. Adam was called The son of God in the Genealogy of the gospel of Luke 3:23-38

23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed ) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,...
38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
When the LORD GOD created mankind it is said to be in His Image.
Jhn 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
So it is not our physical appearance that is in the image of God, but our God given conscience to know right from wrong, good from evil. We as believers possessing the Holy Spirit are being constantly renewed in the spirit of our mind.
[Rom 12:1-2 KJV] 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
It takes the cooperation of the believing saint for his mind to to be renewed. Study, meditation and yielding (volunteering) one's self in a living sacrificial lifestyle will conform us into the image of Christ.
[Phl 3:8-11 KJV] 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things [but] loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [but] dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Please note that it takes suffering to be conformed to the image of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
There is a difference between Adam and believers since Pentecost who have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ. Adam was innocent at his creation concerning good and evil. The LORD gave him a commandment not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Only after disobeying the LORD's command did sin enter into the world.
Rom 5:12
¶ Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:...
There is, and can be, only one solution: REPENTANCE. Here, I speak of the church, His Body, the Body of Christ. The church of God must lead the way for America to repent. The lost cannot do it, as they go deeper and deeper into iniquity, lawlessness, and moral degradation. The fall of America is inevitable. True repentance starts in an individual's heart, then grows out into society, and the Nation. When the church of God was sanctified, consecrated, holy, separated from this world unto their Creator, there was a corporate fear of God even among the unbelievers. Laws were directed to nature, and nature's God. Thus crimes of sodomy, pedophilia, incest, rape, cross dressing, etc., were termed CRIMES AGAINST NATURE. This understanding came from Biblical text, the scripture.
Jde 1:7
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

The LORD GOD is dead serious about sexual deviancy. It is not only a physical killer that will end your life on earth, but eternal damnation in HELL FIRE.
Heb 9:27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
[Rev 20:12-15 KJV] 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
AQmerica is vomiting out it's people. Sin, defiles, destroys the land. The earth was not created for a perverse inhabitants. The LORD GOD created man and womb-man.
Gen.1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
This is the Creator God's design for mankind: to be fruitful (have children), multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion, rulership, over the rest of God's creatures. This is the manufacturers label, blueprint, especially for us who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Usage of Marriage (Merriam Webster)
The definition of the word marriage—or, more accurately, the understanding of what the institution of marriage properly consists of—continues to be highly controversial. This is not an issue to be resolved by dictionaries. Ultimately, the controversy involves cultural traditions, religious beliefs, legal rulings, and ideas about fairness and basic human rights. The principal point of dispute has to do with marriage between two people of the same sex, often referred to as same-sex marriage or gay marriage. Same-sex marriages are now recognized by law in a growing number of countries and were legally validated throughout the U.S. by the Supreme Court decision in Obergefell v. Hodges in 2015. In many other parts of the world, marriage continues to be allowed only between men and women. The definition of marriage shown here is intentionally broad enough to encompass the different types of marriage that are currently recognized in varying cultures, places, religions, and systems of law.
Here is the definition of marriage since it has become law in AQmerica. As Christians we cannot in any way, shape or form, agree, believe, or practice such hateful behavior toward our Lord and Savior. Here is the LORD GOD'S definition on marriage:

20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. THE MYSTERY OF THE GODHEAD, THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE LOVE THE FATHER AND SON HAVE FOR ONE ANOTHER, THE FATHER GIVING HIS SON AS A BLOOD SACRIFICE TO REDEEM MANKIND, THE SON WILLINGLY LAYING DOWN HIS LIFE FOR US, SO WE CAN ENJOY HIS FELLOWSHIP FOREVER. THIS IS GIVEN TO US HERE ON EARTH TO LIVE HOLY LIVES IN MARRIAGE, INDEED, A GREAT MYSTERY.
There is a good reason why pastors are to be the husband of one wife, and his children under his authority. 1Tim.3. As the shepherds of the church, their families must portray this mystery. Within the marriage union there is a natural God given bond between husband and wife. It is to be for a lifetime. The children are the fruit of this love bond and are to be under authority of the parents, the father, husband, in charge of his household. The parent / child relationship is a powerful bond. In hostage crises of children being taken by terrorists, many parents would trade places for their children, knowing they may die. Husbands also lay down their lives for their wives. This is the self sacrificing love, that God the Creator, gave to His creation within the bonds of holy matrimony.
The enemy, the devil, knows and understands this super natural bond. He hates this God given union in creation that mirrors the love within the Godhead. When I was a single man, I had no clue of this union, especially the father / mother sacrificial love for their children. Men and women that have never married, or had children, cannot know this bond. It is not enough to be raised with other siblings to experience this bond. The child must come out of you, your loins, your womb. When men go from women to women, fornicating and whoremongering, leaving children behind, not caring for them, this also breaks the father / child relationship. Divorce affects children in the worst way, for it breaks this holy bond in the most painful way. Many couples who divorce are the victims of dysfunctional families. Men and women who are sexual abusers, physical abusers, drug abusers, alcoholics, gangsters, homosexuals, pedophiles, with all the other fluid genders we have today, are the result of the Creators holy marriage bond being perverted, ignored and hated by the creatures He created.
AN ENEMY HAS DONE THIS
[Mat 13:24-30 KJV] 24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
This is one of many parables the Lord gave concerning the Kingdom of Heaven. A parable is a picture story. He likens the heavenly kingdom to the farmer who planted good seed. Good seed is the wheat that is edible, produces fruit, multiplies. The tares are poisonous, their seeds are black.

Tares: is a kind of darnel, the commonest of the four species, being the bearded, growing in the grain fields, as tall as wheat and barley, and resembling wheat in appearance. It was credited among the Jews with being degenerate wheat. The rabbis called it "bastard." The seeds are poisonous to man and herbivorous animals, producing sleepiness, nausea, convulsions and even death (they are harmless to poultry). The plants can be separated out, but the custom, as in the parable, is to leave the cleaning out till near the time of harvest, Mat 13:25-27, 29, 30, 36, 38, 40. The Lord describes the tares as "the sons of the evil one;" false teachings are indissociable ( cannot tell the difference ) from their propagandists. For the Lord's reference to the Kingdom see KINGDOM.
As they grew together, it was not discerned till maturity, when the black seed of the tares became visible. Then the sickle was put in for the harvest. The Lord is giving us understanding. The closer we come to the end of this world system, the more the evil ones appear. Secret occult societies were underground for fear of being discovered. Things like deviant sexual practices were not in the open. Today the evil one, Satan, is showing his hand. In time past as this evil was maturing, it was not easily visible. Now at the end of times when iniquity comes to its fullness, we witness an explosion of abominations we could not imagine. SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST THE TARES IN THE FIELD

This scripture in Romans 1, is the opening epistle for all of Paul's letters from Romans to Hebrews. Notice what the apostle of the Gentiles puts forth: lesbian and homosexual practices.

The scripture asserts that man knows God. All the atheists combined throughout the centuries cannot stop Christianity. We who are chosen of God, know our calling. The Christians have been slaughtered, imprisoned, tortured, fed to wild beasts, hated by all nations, yet they continue to be martyred giving glory God.
God's invisible "things", His eternal power and Godhead are clearly seen. Though we don't see God, his creation shows who He is and that He exists.

Mathematics is a perfect science. Nothing plus nothing is always nothing: 0 + 0 = 0. Imagine nothingness, nothing exists, not one atom, absolute nothing. Here is God's indictment of mankind: NO EXCUSE. They had no thankfulness, no gratitude, couldn't care less even when all the evidence leads to God the Creator. The result is that they became fools (Grk. morons). The smarter they thought they were, the dumber they became. A heart and mind full of darkness and perversions. Why so much abortion? Since the fall of Adam sin has entered into the earth, mankind is naturally bent toward evil. Especially evil in the form of selfishness. As the Sun-god, Baal was worshipped under two aspects, beneficent and destructive. Attributes of the Goddess:

In Canaan, however, when the solar theology had absorbed the older beliefs, Baal, passing into a sun-god and the goddess who stood at his side becoming a representative of the moon-the pale reflection, as it were, of the sun- -Ashtoreth came to be regarded as the consort of Baal and took the place of the solar goddesses of Babylonia.
What it all comes down to is that today's abortion, is yesterdays ancient Satanic human sacrifices. These abominable occult practices have never left the earth. In the beginning when the LORD created the heavens and the earth, there was already present an angelic creation.
THE FALL OF LUCIFER
[Isa 14:12-15 KJV] 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Sometime in eternity past the devil made insurrection against the LORD GOD. Like tyrants who take over legitimate governments, the devil made his rebellion against the LORD GOD. The scripture tells us that one third of the angels sided with Lucifer. Rev.12:4
What was it that caused Lucifer to want to be as the MOST HIGH. The answer is in Ez. chpt. 28.
[Eze 28:12-17 KJV] 12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone [was] thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14 Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
It is this fallen angel, together with his criminal band of fallen angels that is behind the fall of America and the nations of the earth. As we near the end of human history the fruit of abortion and homosexuality is clearly visible. The devil cannot win, but he is allowed buy the LORD GOD to exist and practice his vile influence upon mankind. The LORD uses him to test the saints. This is seen all throughout the New and Old Testaments. In order for the LORD to have a holy, spotless, bride we must chose to love God out of our own free will. There can be no other way possible. Being forced to love some one is not true love. So by giving man and angels a free will to chose for themselves who they will serve, good and evil are played out in man's history. The reason evil exists is because of our God given ability to chose. Why man chooses evil so easily can be best understood by Satan's own fall and infecting our first two parents; Adam & eve. It is imperative that we grasp what happened at the fall. The stage was set, either man would obey God or be persuaded to disobey the LORD through the serpents temptation. What Adam and Eve would be deciding is the lesson mankind would have to learn the hard way; that created beings (even though made in the image of God), when given total volition to chose their own destiny, will always chose to serve themselves and what benefits them. Mankind is evil. This hard lesson must be learned first before man can live forever.
[Gen 3:21-24 KJV] 21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. 22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
In this short scripture is the whole redemptive work of God concerning mankind. Before the fall, Adam and Eve had access to the Tree of Life. After the fall the way is barred. How can man put forth his hand to eat from the Tree of Life, eat and live forever when angels and a flaming sword guards it's way? The answer lies in the fact that man is powerless to redeem himself. This is self evident to the redeemed, but blindness to the rebellious. We read the LORD GOD made coats of skin to cover their shame of being naked. Here we read between the lines, but not outside of the realm of scripture. To obtain an animal skin one must kill and skin the beast. This means the shedding of Blood.
Lev 17:11
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
Therefore the LORD himself saved Adam and Eve.
[Tit 3:5-7 KJV] 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
When the LORD Jesus comes back to set up his kingdom, puts down all rule and authority, then, and only then is the way to the Tree of Life once again open to mankind.
[1Co 15:22-26 KJV] 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24 Then [cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death.
[Rev 22:1-2 KJV] 1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations.
So, man will once again eat of the Tree of Life, but first he must go to the Tree of Calvary.
