eternal values ministries

[Revelation 22:1 KJV] 1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Did you know the Lord offers us Eternal Life? God created mankind to live forever in the day He was created.  [Genesis 1:27 KJV] 27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. God is Eternal. He had no beginning and no end. [Revelation 1:8 KJV] 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.  The LORD GOD put man in the Garden of Eden. It was Paradise. There was only one thing the LORD forbade him. He was not to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge os Good & Evil.  [Genesis 2:15-17 KJV] 15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
We take it for granted that we Know Right from Wrong, and Good from Evil. However, Adam and Eve had no such Knowledge. They were completely innocent of Evil. All they knew was the Goodness of the LORD. For mankind to be able to choose good from evil, the LORD had to present them with evil. It is easy to choose good if you have never known evil. What happens when you know both? What will you choose? When Adam and Eve were confronted with evil, they chose evil.
[Genesis 3:1-24 KJV] 1 Now the serpent (Satan) was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where [art] thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I [was] naked; and I hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou [wast] naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest [to be] with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What [is] this [that] thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou [art] cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. 16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return. 20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. 21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. 22 And the LORD God said,
Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. THE DEVIL IS A LIAR. Please note the temptation in verse 5: your eyes will be opened (illumined), and you will be as gods. Satan made Eve suspicious of God, that He was holding back godhood from her, saying, "God does know." Then Eve gave to her husband, and he ate with her. This is the true account of the Fall of Man and the Misery of our lives today. First, they knew they were naked. They tried to cover their sin with fig leaves. Then they hid from the LORD. Dear reader, let me ask you: Are you still hiding from God? Do you see the consequences of sin in your own life? [Romans 5:12 KJV] 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:...
Genesis 3:22-24, the LORD GOD had to drive them out of the garden, because they became like Him, knowing Good and Evil. He put Angels and a Flaming Sword to keep Adam and Eve from eating of the Tree of Life. Why? They needed to eat from the Tree of Life to live forever, but the LORD would not allow it. As rebellious sinners, Inheriting Adam's Sin Nature, we do not Obey God's Commandments. The LORD GOD will not allow mankind to live forever in this Fallen state of Sin and Death. We must be Transformed.
There is another Tree we must eat of if we are to enter heaven. This is Calvary's Tree. The tree the Lord Jesus Christ was nailed to. [Galatians 3:13 KJV] 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed [is] everyone who hangs on a tree"). You eat from this tree by Faith. [Hebrews 11:1 KJV] 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen...[Hebrews 11:6 KJV] 6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must Believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Please read Hebrews 11.)
The Curse of Disobedience in breaking God's Law is upon every descendant of Adam. We are Born in this condition. This is why the Lord Jesus Christ said, "You must be Born Again". [John 3:3 KJV] 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. [John 1:9-14 KJV] 9 [That] was the true Light (Jesus), which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own (Israel), and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
There is only one way to be Born Again to enter heaven. [Romans 10:9-13 KJV] 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
