Introduction
You Are God's Witness in the Earth
Are you a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ? If so, then you need to obey the command of our Lord. [Act 1:6-8 KJV] 6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
This is called the Great Commission. All who are believers in the Lord have the privilege to be His witnesses. This Commission is for all. You don't need a degree in theology or to be a pastor. The Lord will use you no matter what your station in life is. Here is the crux of the matter. Do you Love the Lost? Do you love them enough to tell them about the saving grace of Jesus? Do you love the Lord enough to be His witnesses? If we don't witness, then who will? Can the Lord Trust you to carry out His Great Commission? These are questions you must ponder. All the Lord requires of you is a willing heart. If your desire is to be used of the Lord, then pray and ask the Father to grant your petition to be his witness.
[2 Corinthians 5:18-21 KJV] 18 And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
What an honor it is to be an Ambassador for Christ. If you are saved, then you are automatically given the Ministry of Reconciliation. You are an Ambassador for Christ. The Lord has equipped you to bring Souls into the Kingdom. You may not feel this is for you, or you may be in doubt that God will use you. The Devil is a Liar!
Isa.53:1 ¶Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
This is the Key that opens the door. To believe God's word, to have Faith and trust Him despite your fears and doubts. Every saint needs to know who they are in Christ and the authority and power the Father has delegated to them as Ambassadors for Christ. An American ambassador in Russia represents America. An Ambassador of Christ represents God on the earth.
The biggest fear in witnessing is not knowing how the person you're witnessing to will react. Will they be hostile? What if they ask me a question I cannot answer? If I witness to my friends or family, will they think I'm crazy? The truth is, this will happen sometimes. We live in enemy territory. Satan is the Prince of the Air. He has blinded the minds of those who do not believe. We may lose friends. Your family may disown you. I have seen it happen. But I have also seen family members come to Christ. You never know who God will save. It may be years later, but you planted the seed.
[Ephesians 2:1-2 KJV] 1 And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:...
2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
[1 Corinthians 3:8 KJV] 8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
The very least we can do is give someone a tract. Let us then be faithful stewards of the Mysteries of God.
Chapter 1: Our Power and Authority in Christ
This is where we must start. Do you know what God has done when He saved you? You are not just saved to go to heaven. There is work to be done, and the Lord saved you for this purpose. You are not a Primate or some species of animal on the earth. You were created in the Image of God. The Gap between the Apes and Mankind is like a Banana compared to a Nuclear missile. There is a reason the Missing Link is still missing. There is a reason nobody ever found one kind of animal evolving into another species. It never happened. The Devil is a Liar!
[Genesis 1:26-27 KJV] 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Both Job and the Psalmist asked what is man that the Lord is mindful of him?
[Hebrews 2:5-9 KJV] 5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. 6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? 7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: 8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing [that is] not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. 9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
This is a Great Mystery. [1 Timothy 3:16 KJV] 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
You, dear saint, are Joint Heirs with Christ. Everything He inherits, we inherit with Him.
[Ephesians 3:5-6 KJV] 5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:...
We have received the Sonship: the Adoption of Children.
[Ephesians 1:1-23 KJV] 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace [be] to you, and peace, from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Dear saint, please see the big picture. The Lord in His wisdom Did not Judge Satan and his angels when they rebelled. He let Satan infect mankind with with sin. The Lord's plan is to let this cosmic battle play out. You who have put your trust in Christ are victorious. Everything has been decided before hand. Satan has no possibility in winning. He is a defeated foe from the beginning. The Lord has crushed his skull at the cross. He and his angels await the final Judgment at the return of Christ.
As Ambassadors for Christ we are given His authority over Satan and this world.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
